Emily Darwin (Benson) made three appearances in the circle for Grand Canyon, with a start against Yale and a win against Princeton. In 7 2/3 innings, she posted a 0.91 ERA with two strikeouts while only allowing four hits and two runs to earn WAC Pitcher of the Week honors.
Embry-Riddle’s Vanessa Brink (Empire) did not allow an earned run in 13 innings of work. Brink struck out 25 and surrendered a total of just six hits in wins over Jamestown (ND) and William Penn (Iowa) to earn Cal PAC Pitcher of the Week honors.
