Bisbee overcame a four-run deficit to rival Benson and won 9-5 Friday night in the 2A state semifinals at Tempe Diablo Stadium.

The third-seeded Pumas (22-6) will play No. 1 Phoenix Christian (26-2) in the championship Saturday at 7 p.m. at Diablo Stadium.

The rally was highlighted by an RBI single by Anthony Molina and two-run double by Jaxxon Alvarez.

Molina and Alvarez also each had RBI singles in the fifth inning to build the lead to 9-4.

Bryceton Meyer got the win, allowing two hits in five innings. He struck out six and walked seven.

Alvarez finished 3 for 4 with a double, run and four RBIs while Molina went 3 for 4 with two runs and two RBIs.

Horacia Olivarria and Jose Mendez each had two hits for the Bisbee. Mendez also had an RBI.
