Arizona sophomore left fielder Dakota Kennedy earned the Rawlings Gold Glove Award presented by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Wednesday during a press conference at the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.
Kennedy was also selected a third-team All-American by the NFCA.
Kennedy’s awards come a day after D1 Softball announced senior second baseman Allie Skaggs earned first-team All-American honors.

Skaggs earned a Rawlings Gold Glove Award last season. She also was selected an NFCA All-American as a sophomore.
Kennedy was chosed to a D1 Softball Second-Team All-American. She was named to the All-Pac-12 first team and Pac-12 All-Defensive team this season.
Regan Shockey, a centerfielder who dazzled with her slap-hitting ability and speed, was selected to Softball America’s All-Freshman national team.
Tucson High graduate Carlie Scupin, Tayler Biehl, Kennedy and Skaggs also earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.
