Troy Hutchison, formerly of AllSportsTucson.com who now reports on Arizona athletics for GOAZCATS.com, is the latest guest of the All Sports Tucson Talk podcast.
Hutchison comments on recent commitments to Arizona’s Class of 2025 class (see below) and also discusses the upcoming season, the first for Brent Brennan after coming to Tucson from San Jose State.
Among the many interesting points Hutchison presents is Arizona ironically being fortunate that Jedd Fisch left to Washington when he did, before the UCLA position opened. If Fisch had the avenue to go to UCLA, he likely would have taken it because of the recruiting haven in Los Angeles and his background in that area as a Bruins assistant. Many of Arizona’s players from Southern California likely would have left with Fisch and his staff to L.A. In that case, Arizona essentially would have needed to start all over again under Brennan.
