Empire senior running back/linebacker Ngonkra Fuangunyi rushed for 209 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries and also had three tackles in the Ravens’ 14-7 win over Phoenix Sierra Linda to earn Week 2 APS Digital Print Player of the Week honors.
Empire (1-0) increased its winning streak to six games to last season with the victory.

Fuangunyi also caught a pass for 20 yards. He is a kickoff returner as well and had returns of 40 and 35 yards.
For his performance, Fuangunyi will receive a banner from APS Digital Print signifying him as the Week 2 Player of the Week.
He was one of the high school players invited by Arizona’s coaching staff to attend Saturday’s game with New Mexico at Arizona Stadium.
