The AIA released its first ranking of girls basketball in the state on Tuesday. Included are the top 10 of each classification with Southern Arizona schools in the top 25 also listed. Records, as of Monday, reflect games recognized by the AIA (do not include results of in-season tournaments).
Open Division
The top eight (8) highest rated teams from the 4A-6A conferences, along with the next eight (8) highest rated teams combined from the 4A-6A conferences, will qualify for the Open playoffs. All 32 teams will be seeded based on their rating.
