
Benson senior Dawson Judd played at a high level on offense and defense in the Bobcats’ 34-0 win at rival Bisbee on Friday night in the season opener for both teams.
Judd completed 23 of 31 pass attempts for 315 yards with four touchdowns. He also rushed 12 times for 69 yards and a touchdown.
As a safety, the 5-foot-11 and 180-pound prospect had two interceptions to go with nine tackles.
Judd is also a talent in baseball as a second baseman, shortstop and third baseman. He batted .500 (48 of 96) with 12 doubles, eight triples, a home run and 34 RBIs in the spring for the Bobcats.
