
Desert View sophomore Jaylee Abraham is only four games into his first full varsity season, and he has already produced at least 160 yards in two of them.
His career-best 222-yard performance on 18 carries in Friday’s 54-26 win at Mountain View helped the Jaguars start the season 4-0. He also rushed for four touchdowns, giving him 12 this season.
He is at 563 yards on 53 carries already, putting him on pace to rush for more than 1,400 yards during the regular season.

Division I programs, including Arizona, are taking note of the 5-foot-8 and 180-pound Abraham despite his young age. The Wildcats invited him to attend the Weber State game at Arizona Stadium as a guest Sept. 6.
For his performance in Friday’s game, Abraham is the Week 5 APS Digital Print/Frog & Firkin Player of the Week.
