Arizona Athletics captured the 2025-26 Allstate Commissioner’s Cup, the Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday.

The Allstate Commissioner’s Cup — presented annually to the winner of the Allstate Big 12 Championship Series — was created to recognize Big 12 athletic departments for their efforts in fostering an environment that develops student-athletes both on and off the field. This marks the first time in school history the Wildcats have won the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup.

Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark presented the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup to R. Ken Coit Director of Athletics Desireé ReedFrancois at Big 12 Football Media Days Tuesday in Frisco, Texas.

“We are extremely proud of our entire athletics department, from student-athletes to coaches to staff,” Reed-Francois said in a press release. “Winning the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup not only reflects competitive success in one of the nation’s top conferences but also our commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.

“Success for Every Student is our North Star, and we will continue to provide our student-athletes with the opportunity to compete at the highest level, excel in the classroom and become impactful leaders long after graduation.”

The Commissioner’s Cup launched last year to recognize Big 12 athletic departments for their efforts in fostering an environment that develops student-athletes both on and off the field. The award builds on Allstate’s 20-year commitment to supporting college athletics and helping student-athletes succeed in competition, the classroom and their communities. In addition to winning the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup, Arizona will also receive a scholarship donation from Allstate.

Points are accrued throughout the year through Big 12 championship results, regular-season performance, and off-field achievements, including academics, graduation outcomes, career development and community service.

The Wildcats – who amassed a league-leading 1,377.625 points — won Big 12 regular season and tournament titles in men’s basketball in addition to the men’s tennis regular season crown. Both men’s basketball and men’s golf advanced to the NCAA Final Four, while men’s tennis earned its first-ever NCAA Elite Eight berth. Football won nine games and earned a Holiday Bowl berth. Women’s track and field posted its highest NCAA outdoor finish in 13 years, and volleyball made its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2018. In all, 18 Arizona programs earned postseason berths, including the women’s triathlon team, which captured its second straight Women’s Collegiate National Championship.

In the classroom, Arizona student-athletes posted a 2025 NCAA GSR of 92 percent, a two percent increase over the previous year. The Wildcats twice broke their semester grade point average during the 2025-26 school year, registering a 3.412 GPA in the fall before eclipsing that mark with a 3.413 GPA in the spring.

As part of Arizona’s pioneering C.A.T.S Program (Commitment to an Athlete’s Total Success), Wildcat student-athletes contributed 3,335 hours of community service during the 2025-26 school year with the football team volunteering the most hours.
