Amelia Lindheimer was selected to represent Team USA at the 4th annual 15U PONY Girls’ Baseball World Series
Fresh of a trip to play against great Britain in the UK, former Rincon Little League and current Cactus Empire standout Amelia Lindheimer was selected to represent Team USA at the 15U PONY Girls’ Baseball World Series taking place in Shanghai, China this coming August but the event would have meant missing too much school for the Cienega student. Lindheimer went 3 for 7 with 6 walks and 11 runs produced in four games in the UK. Lindheimer hit a three-run walk-off home run at the Cooperstown All Star Village last summer.
Former Salpointe standout Taliyah Henderson representing team Canada again
Taliyah Henderson helped Team Canada earn a Silver Medal in the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup in 2024, started every game and averaged 9.5 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per contest, and the Clemson standout attended the Senior Women’s National Team training camp from June 20-28 in Montréal to prepare for the FIBA Women’s Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico from August 17-23.
First Tee Tucson Summer Camp Registration
First Tee Tucson is holding a Summer Camp at the Fred Enke Golf Course from July 9-10. The camp will be divided between ages 7-11 and 12-18.
