The 2026 US Marine Corps Junior Nationals start Friday in Fargo, N.D., and more than 20 wrestlers from Southern Arizona will participate in the prestigious event at the Fargodome.
The Boys 16U Freestyle and Junior Boys Freestyle brackets run from Friday through Sunday. The Girls 16U and Junior Girls Freestyle tournaments are from July 16-18.
The weeklong event is dubbed, “The world’s largest wrestling tournament,” by organizers. It includes hundreds of nationally-ranked wrestlers.
The following list of Southern Arizona wrestlers involved is of who USA Wrestling has reported as registered.
They have either completed their high school careers, are attending high school or about to enter high school after competing for local clubs such as the RBY Wrestling Club, Tucson Cyclones Wrestling Club, Sunnyside Wrestling Club, Dominate Wrestling Club, Vail Wrestling Club and Mountain Lion Wrestling Club.
