FC Tucson in postseason third consecutive year

FC Tucson is headed back to the postseason for the third consecutive year.

FC Tucson has qualified for the USL League Two Playoffs Presented by VensureHR, earning one of just 32 postseason berths among the league’s 158 clubs. The club will look to build on its recent postseason success after winning at least one playoff match in each of the past two seasons. This includes the  memorable 2024 campaign in which FC Tucson captured the Western Conference Championship and advanced to the USL League Two Final Four.

FC Tucson finished the 2026 regular season with a 6-2-4 record, winning its final three matches to secure second place in the Southwest Division and a third consecutive playoff berth.

The postseason begins on Friday as FC Tucson travels to Northern California to face San Francisco City FC in the opening round of the USL League Two Playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Fans are invited to support the team at the official FC Tucson Playoff Watch Party at Corbett’s on Friday night. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. and will feature discounted FC Tucson merchandise available for purchase throughout the match.

Supporters unable to attend the watch party can stream every FC Tucson playoff match live on SportsEngine Play. Streaming links will be posted across all FC Tucson social media channels on match day.

Should FC Tucson advance past San Francisco City FC, the club will face the winner of Ventura County Fusion and Project 510 in the second round on Sunday. Both potential opponents offer familiar storylines.

A matchup with Ventura County Fusion would renew one of the Southwest Division’s fiercest rivalries, while a meeting with Project 510 would be a rematch of the 2024 Western Conference Final, where FC Tucson claimed a 2-1 victory to capture the Western Conference title and advance to the Final Four.
