Desert Mountain outlasted Horizon 552 to 569 this past week at the Division II state playoffs to win the third team championship in program history with the previous two coming in 2005 and 2015. The Wolves made a move on Thursday (-17) at the Aguila Golf Course to finish with the 24-under mark.
With Ashcraft at Texas A&M, the field was open and Horizon junior Easton Reischl took full advantage with a 14-under 130 to beat the next three golfers by four strokes. Arcadia junior Hudson Cook, Canyon del Oro junior Jordan Tees and Seton Catholic Prep senior Nathan Ash all finished with a 10-under 134.
Tees finished in 14th place last year.
Canyon del Oro junior Jordan Tees tied for second place with a 10-under-par 134. D-II state championship. https://t.co/KVCTA3mwgQ
