Former Baseball’s Next Level Stars Give Back to Community By Visiting Mission Manor Elementary

Local student-athletes who advanced to where they are now in college playing baseball gave back to the community this week by visiting students at Mission Manor Elementary School and discussing the importance education has on their future endeavors.

The players are from the highly successful Baseball’s Next Level program, which is operated by Mission Manor principal Bryan Huie.

Those who visited Mission Manor (pictured below) included:

Chris Barraza, New Mexico State (Sahuarita High School)
Kevin Jimenez, New Mexico State (Nogales)
Jesus (Chuy) Lopez, Pepperdine (Nogales)
Ricky (Mono) Maytorena, Cal State San Marcos (Nogales)
Jorge (Bojo) Bojorquez, Sacramento State (Nogales)
German Fajardo, Arizona (Nogales)
Ian Mejia, Pima Community College (Sahuarita)
Marcel Bachelier, Pima Community College (Nogales)
Kiko Romero, Central Arizona College (CDO)

“Thank you guys for supporting education and our community,” Huie told his former BNL players. “We will swing it and throw it next week. See you soon. BNL is much more than baseball. It is family. Go BNL!”
