The top five statistical leaders in scoring, rebounding and assists of Southern Arizona players in all classifications is listed below (stats provided by MaxPreps). One of many players to keep an eye on: Baboquivari freshman guard Kota Benson, who is second in the area in scoring and assists. He plays for a Class 1A school but has produced against teams in Class 5A. Budding prospect. Another freshman for a 1A school — Vince Edwards of The Gregory School — is No. 2 locally in rebounds.
