When I first started to swim I was on a summer league and did it as a way to meet people, try out a new sport and see if I liked it. As the years progressed, I started to fall in love with the sport and was ambitious to go to more meets and to keep competing in higher level meets.

Right now, I couldn’t imagine doing any other sport and am so thankful to be a part of the sport of swimming.

My greatest hope for 2020-2021 is to have a high school state meet. I have gone every year since my freshman year and want to be able to defend my title as 50 free state champion.

The thing I like most about my team is the atmosphere and the people on my team.

Everyone is always motivated to go out and practice every day. The mix of people makes it even better because you have all the classes together. It makes you feel equal to each other. No matter if you are a freshman or a senior, you all have the same goal of training hard and going all the way to high school state.

After high school, I want to keep pursuing swimming at the collegiate level for a Division I program.
