No. 5 Canada beat No. 6 Italy 5-4 on Wednesday to earn the fourth and final spot for the Women’s Softball World Cup Finals Super Round taking place in Italy. Former Sabino standout and current Cienega head softball coach Kelsey Harshman is a second baseman for Canada.
Harshman is batting .444 with a home run and three RBI in three games. Harshman helped Team Canada win a Bronze Medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
