PGA Junior League Region 12 Championships
Skyline Country Club: Sept. 14-15
First Tee-Skyline had two 17U teams advance out of a field of eight teams during stroke play at the PGA Junior League Region 12 Championships held at the Skyline Country Club on Saturday. Team One beat the Las Vegas Golden Knights 5.5-3.5 in a match play qualifier on Sunday morning and the Santa Teresa 17U Team One out of San Jose beat Team Two 7.5-1.5.
First Tee-Skyline advanced to the championship final on Sunday afternoon against Santa Teresa but the team fell one point short at 5.0-4.0.

Edward Tsai (Skyline) and Elijah Chang (Skyline)
Region 12 consists of teams from Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and California. First Tee-Skyline won the Southwest Sectional Championships coached by Chris Dompier and Hank Ravenell in August. The 17U championship will take place at the Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico from Nov. 14-17.
