The Pima Community College men’s soccer team is the top seed in the NJCAA Division II national tournament that begins Sunday at Huntsville, Ala.
The women’s team earned an at-large bid and will be a No. 6 seed in its tournament that also begins Sunday at Huntsville.

The men’s team (18-1) will play in Pool A, in which it will face No. 12 Pellissippi (Tenn.) State Community College at 9:15 a.m. Tucson time. They close out pool play next Tuesday against No. 8 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at 9:15 a.m., Tucson time.
David Cosgrove’s team claimed its first Region I, Division II title since 2020-21 last week.
The women’s team (12-4) will play in Pool C of its tournament and will start against No. 3 Heartland (Ill.) Community College at 2:15 p.m., Tucson time. They will play No. 10 Pensacola (Fla.) State College on Monday at 2:15 p.m., Tucson time.
Kendra Veliz’s team finished runner-up at the Region I, Division II tournament last week.
