Arizona has won five straight games, including a series-clinching 11-7 victory over Baylor on Saturday at Hillenbrand Stadium.

No. 13 Arizona (26-8, 9-3 Big 12) will go for the sweep of the Bears (21-11, 5-3) on Sunday at noon.

The Wildcats scored 11 runs on 11 hits on Saturday and were led by Regan Shockey and Sereniti Trice, who both went 3 for 4 at the plate. Addison Duke homered and drove in three runs while Tele Jennings also recorded three RBIs.

Arizona set the tone with eight runs in the first inning.

Sydney Stewart drew a bases-loaded walk to bring in the first run and Grace Jenkins followed with a sacrifice fly to bring home the second run of the inning.

Jenna Sniffen also had a bases-loaded walk and Jennings hit a bases-clearing double to give Arizona a 6-0 lead. Shockey had an RBI groundout and Trice hit an RBI single to bring in the final pair of runs in the inning.

In the top of the second, Baylor answered with five runs to cut into Arizona’s lead. The Bears hit two home runs and used a pair of RBI doubles to score five runs.

Duke hit a three-run home run, her third homer of the season, in the bottom of the third to give the Cats an 11-5 lead over the Bears.

Baylor scored one run in the fourth and fifth innings on an RBI single and a solo home run to make it an 11-7 game.

Jenae Berry closed the door on the Bears in the sixth and seventh innings, going 1-2-3 in both innings.

Berry picked up the win to improve to 2-0 after pitching 5 1/3 innings in relief, striking out five batters and allowing just two runs on three hits. Rylie Holder started the game and went 1 2/3 innings and allowed five runs on two hits.

Arizona will hit the road for nine consecutive games after completing its series with Baylor — Iowa State (Thursday through Saturday), LSU (April 10-12) and Oklahoma State (April 17-19). The Wildcats will return to Hillenbrand on April 24 when they will begin a 3-game series with Houston.
