Tucsonan Arizona Poulin 10U Greco-Roman champ at USA Wrestling Women’s Nationals

Arizona Poulin, who trains out of the Cyclones Wrestling and Fitness Club, went 3-0 in her round-round 10U competition at the USA Wrestling Women’s Nationals Greco-Roman tournament at Spokane, Wash., on Saturday.

Poulin’s national championship was the third of the event accomplished by Southern Arizona wrestlers.

Renee Garza (RBY Wrestling Club/Sunnyside Kids Club) earned her consecutive 8U freestyle national title.

Ana Gisele Kelly (Cyclones Wrestling & Fitness Club) won the 87-pound 12U freestyle national championship.

Poulin’s results in the round-robin competition:

— Won by fall in 1:01 over Lily Valdovinos (Victory Wrestling Central) of Granger, Wash.

— Won by fall in 1:30 over Zuri Silva (Northwest Washington Wrestling Club) of Port Orchard, Wash.

— Won by fall in 32 seconds over Penelope Arce (Auburn A-Team) of Auburn, Wash.
