DEVELOPMENTS

— The Tampa Bay Rays have promoted veteran OF Jared Oliva, formerly of Arizona, to Triple-A Durham (N.C.). It’s his third Triple-A team of the season. He played for Sacramento (Giants), Syracuse (Mets) and now Durham.

— Cienega alum Isaiah Jackson, formerly of Arizona State, has joined former Salpointe and Arizona standout Mason White with Double-A Portland (Maine) of the Boston Red Sox organization. White recently hit his fourth home run with Portland and his 18th overall this season. Jackson belted 21 home runs at Double-A Greenville (S.C.).

— Less than a couple of weeks after his promotion to Double-A by the St. Louis Cardinals, Salpointe alum Cade McGee belted two home runs in one game and is now at three homers at that level. He has 17 overall this year.
