Serra QB Khalil Tate ejected in win over Lakewood. That means he can't play next week vs. Corona Centennial. Bad. Very bad.

Arizona Wildcats Class of 2016 quarterback/athlete recruit Khalil Tate was ejected late in the first half of Gardena (Calif.) Serra’s season-opening 41-15 win over host Lakewood (Calif.) on Friday night.
He was thrown out of the game late in the first half for retaliating on a late hit. Tate allegedly threw a punch after he was hit in the head by a charging Lakewood player while he was down on his knees. The incident emptied both sidelines. In the end, Serra was penalized for 30 yards and Tate became suspended for next week’s game against Corona (Calif.) Centennial. He was the only ejected player after the melee.
“The win was big, but so was losing our quarterback for this game and next week,” Serra coach Scott Altenberg told the Daily Breeze.
Tate had a 2-yard touchdown run and a 45-yard touchdown pass.
“I just had to get my mind off the fact that he’s not going to be playing next week,” Altenberg said.
Here’s a video of the perfect strike from Tate to receiver Brandon Burton that put Serra up 21-0 with 9:05 left in the first half:
