Empire running back Wyatt Jeffries accepted the Southern Arizona APS Digital/Tucson Conquistadores Player of the Week award on Wednesday. The senior rushed for 177 yards and 2 TDs on 20 carries to lead Empire past Palo Verde 55-12 last Friday.
