Thomas Reyna & Emma Morris are approaching 1,000 career points

Thomas Reyna (Andy Morales/AllSportsTucson.com)

Khalid Whitaker (Flowing Wells), Francisco Lugo (Douglas) and Emily Darwin (Benson) broke into the 1,000-point club this year and St. Augustine junior Thomas Reyna should be next with 979 career points. Tanque Verde standout Emma Morris is sitting at 969 points.

There are a few players within striking distance but there have been no stat updates for those players.

Sahuaro junior Alyssa Brown has 1,447 career points and she is only 128 points away from breaking the school record held by her older sister, Sydney Harden (1,575). Only 10 games into her junior season, Brown is on pace to score at least 2,500 career points.

NOTE: Schools are required to update MaxPreps stats to be included. Only MaxPreps stats will be accepted as it is the official site recognized by the AIA.
