McLaughlin, a 4-star point guard who is 6’3 and 170 pounds, first committed to Oregon State entering his sophomore season in high school. After de-committing there, he committed to Washington and then changed his mind.

When asked about his decision-making process going forward, McLaughlin told me he will wait as long as possible to pull the trigger.

“For me, already committing twice and de-committing twice, I’m just being patient and taking all of my visits,” he said. “Just really looking at the school and seeing if that’s the right fit for me.”

McLaughlin has not made up his mind where he will visit yet, but Arizona stands a good chance. He told me he can play a prominent role either starting or coming off the bench as a freshman with the Wildcats in 2016-17. Current point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright will be a junior that season.
