COMPLETE RESULTS

The Sabino girls scored 259 points to win the Division III Swim and Dive championship over Scottsdale Prep (200) and Scottsdale Saguaro (159). The state championships for all three divisions were held Friday and Saturday in the Phoenix area.

This is the second state championship in a row for the Sabercats. Only five schools from Southern Arizona have won championships and Catalina Foothills leads all team with 10.

Including relays, 16 individuals from Southern Arizona won gold medals. Ironwood Ridge junior Hannah Houlton, Catalina Foothills standout Scott Pekarske and Pusch Ridge senior William Newman collected two golds each.

When relays are included, Sabino standout Skylar Dikeman took home three gold medals as did Pekarske. Sabino standout Kaylin Farnum collected two gold medals in relay competition.

Catalina Foothills swept second place for the boys and girls.
