30-foot winning buzzer shot highlights Tucson Summer Pro League for Kids action Saturday

The Tucson Summer Pro League for Kids (ages 11 to 13) went into its second weekend of competition in dramatic style on Saturday at The Gregory School.

Christian Pundt of Truly Nolen made a 30-foot shot at the buzzer in double overtime to give his team the victory over the Moore Law Firm.

Games will be played on weekends leading up the championship on July 21, except when the adult division has its tournament next weekend at The Gregory School (3231 N. Craycroft Road).

Sunday’s games in the TSPL for Kids competition:

11 a.m. — Ace Hardware vs. Buffalo Wild Wings

12 p.m. — Bruce Baca Real State vs. Moore Law Firm

1 p.m. — Window Depot vs. Truly Nolen

2 p.m. — Tucson Appliance vs Pima Federal Credit Union

3 p.m. — Pascua Yaqui vs. Asarco

The TSPL, directed by former Arizona basketball player Corey Williams since 2004, announced the players of the game Saturday of each of the five games played. Pundt was one of them.
