No. 7 Sabino, No. 9 Sahuarita and No. 14 Pusch Ridge all advanced in the 3A state softball tournament on Saturday.
The Sabercats (19-3) blanked No. 10 Coolidge 10-0 behind a five-inning one-hitter thrown by senior Danielle Kirchhofer. She struck out 13 batters and walked one at the game played at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex in Phoenix.
Kirchhofer also went 2 for 4 with two runs and an RBI.
Hannah Stark went 2 for 3 with three RBIs for the Sabercats. Kinzee Anderson and Jillian Calloway also had two hits.
Pusch Ridge (17-10) upset No. 3 Payson 3-2 at Rose Mofford. The Cinderella Lions won 19-5 at Chino Valley in a play-in game last week.

Baie Ensio leads Pusch Ridge batting .525 and freshman Kyrie Denny has a slugging percentage of 1.027 with 12 doubles, two triples and seven home runs.
Sahuarita (27-5) beat No. 8 Paradise Honors 4-3 at Rose Mofford. Senior Hailey Tanori leads the Mustangs with a .608 batting average.

Sabino, Sahuarita and Pusch Ridge return to Rose Mofford on Friday for the quarterfinals with all games starting at 8 p.m.
Sabino will play No. 2 Mohave Valley River Valley, Sahuarita faces No. 1 Winslow and Pusch Ridge plays No. 11 Yuma Catholic.
