Salpointe fullback/linebacker Emiliano DeCortez became the 42nd local Class of 2021 prospect to commit to a college when he pledged Wednesday to Presentation College, an NAIA program at Aberdeen, S.D.
DeCortez is also the fourth senior from Salpointe to make a commitment, joining running back David Cordero (Ottawa), defensive end Brees McCraren (Fort Lewis) and tight end Fernando Torres (St. Olaf).

Parker Pelletier, a defensive back/receiver, has been offered by at least 21 college programs, most recently Houston Baptist on Monday.
