Former Cienega softball standout Blaise Biringer enters transfer portal from Ole Miss

Former Cienega standout Blaise Biringer earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team playing for Mississippi while batting .327 and starting in 50 of 53 regular season games for Ole Miss. According to reports from the Ole Miss Spirit, Biringer filed papers to enter the transfer portal without notifying her program.

Mississippi is reported to be under investigation for possible Title IX violations stemming from reports of an alleged inappropriate relationship involving unnamed along with other alleged violations according to several other reports.

Ole Miss lost to Arizona twice during regional play and the infielder went 4-9 with a double against the Wildcats.
