FC Tucson looks to continue their hot streak

FC Tucson (7-5-8) had an amazing week on the pitch.

They traveled to Massachusetts last week and earned three points after beating New England II Revolution.

The Men In Black weren’t done there. They travelled to Arlington last Saturday to take another point in a draw against North Texas SC.

In just one week, FC Tucson compiled four points and climbed up the USL League One rankings from 11th to fifth place.

Such dominant play by FC Tucson was able to get two of their players on the USL League One team of the week.

Midfielder Daniel Bedoya and defender Noah Franke both made the list for the week.

FC Tucson will look to continue their unbeaten streak, as they play Fort Lauderdale CF (7-5-9) at Kino North Complex tonight at 7.

This will be the fourth meeting this season between the two clubs. FC Tucson holds a 2-1 record.

The last time these two clubs played, the Men In Black put on an offensive showcase, winning by a score of 4-0.

The club will honor the police and first responders in remembrance of the events that took place on Sept. 11, 2001.

FC Tucson has from now until Oct. 30 to further solidify themselves as USL League One playoff contenders.

They currently have 26 points and are tied with Fort Lauderdale CF and North Texas SC.

New England Revolution II, Tormenta and the Richmond Kickers all trail right behind them with 25 points.

Tonight’s match will be broadcasted on ESPN Plus.
