Mountain View state champion Austin Scott announced his commitment to wrestle for Oregon State on Monday. Scott went 18-0 to capture the Division II state championship in the 152-pound weight class last year as a junior.
“After a weekend in Oregon, seeing the campus, meeting the team and amazing coaching staff, I have decided to further my education and wrestle Division 1 at Oregon State University,” Scott wrote on his announcement. “I want to thank my family, friends, coaches and teammates for getting me to this point in my career.”
