Michelle Mayland Johnson, mother of former Arizona Wildcats basketball standout Nick Johnson, shared with us photos posted by her Colombian friend Gladys Bolivar Camacho, who is attending the World Cup in Brazil and wearing Arizona garb while there.
“She’s my college roommate,” Michelle messaged me about Camacho. “She is from Colombia and lives in Colombia. She came all the way to Arizona in January to watch Nick play and bought that (Arizona) shirt.
“She also went with me to the L.A. games. Pretty awesome. They are there to watch Colombia but went to a USA game and she wore the shirt.”
