Projected backup: Levi Walton, 6-3, 285, RS-Fr. Career starts: 0.
Starter in 2014: Alsadek 11 games and Lene Maiava three.
Synopsis: Alsadek started 11 games and played in 12 at right guard as a redshirt freshman. His performance earned him USA Today Freshman All-American honors. He is a lineman Rich Rodriguez and Anu Solomon can count on over the next three seasons. The presence of Walton as a capable redshirt freshman backup shows Rodriguez’s depth has advanced. Alsadek was a starter in Walton’s same spot last year.
