Longtime PGA golfer Jim Furyk, who led Arizona to an NCAA title in 1992, deserves mention in this slideshow because of his sustained high caliber of performance on the tour. In September 2006 he reached a career high of second in the Official World Golf Ranking. He ranked in the top 10 for more than 380 weeks between 1999 and this year. He has one major victory to his credit, the 2003 U.S. Open.
