Tucson High infielder Jacob Federico committed to Pima earlier today. Federico batted .295 with nine doubles two home runs and 19 RBIs last year to help guide the Badgers to the state final.

“We are all excited for Jacob and appreciative of the opportunity given to him by such a great baseball program,” his mother Yvonne Carmona-Leon said. “To get an education is priority, to get an education while playing a game he loves is a bonus. Thank you to the entire Pima baseball staff.”
