New York Yankees area scout Bryan Huie will be conducting his 15th annual Yankees High School Team tryout on Saturday May 21. The tryout will start at 7:30 am at Pima Community College.
Cost: $20.00 tryout fee and it includes a lunch.
If you are selected it will be FREE for 10 weeks in the fall as they play all junior college teams around Arizona and enter the Senior Fall Classic. Simply just show up and register on the Saturday morning. Open to any current freshman, sophomore, junior or senior.
According to Huie, the average number of players kept every year would be 24 from 2017, 6 to 8 from 2018 and possibly one from the 2019 graduating class. Two teams are formed every year.
