Greg Snyder named to the National American Legion Baseball All-Academic Team

Tucson Post 59 (KFC) outfielder Greg Snyder was named to the National American Legions Baseball All-Academic Team. The team was announced during The American Legion World Series earlier this month. Snyder, a graduate of Sahuaro, was a finalist for the AllSportsTucson.com Student Athlete of the Year award.

Each player on the All-Academic Team received a $2,500 scholarship. An overall top academic player is named the team captain and awarded a $5,000 scholarship. This year’s captain was Adam Conway from Colonial Heights, Va., Post 284.
