Salpointe standout Alexandra Quihuis enters the field as the top-ranked golfer (-0.962) in Division II. Her teammate, Annabelle Huether (0.587) is ranked fourth.

As a team, Catalina Foothills is ranked fourth and Salpointe goes in ranked fifth. Cactus Shadows is the top-ranked team in Division II.

Catalina Foothills, Sahuaro, Gila Ridge, Campo Verde, Sunrise Mountain and Cactus Shadows earned an automatic berth as a team while Notre dame, Chaparral, Salpointe, Arcadia, Ironwood Ridge, Casteel, Lee Williams, Queen Creek and Valley Vista claimed the at-large bids.

By rule, the next 21 individuals not attached to a playoff team earned a berth to the state championships. From Southern Arizona, that list includes Kaitlyn Hsu and Hannah Bort of Canyon del Oro, Mason Rawls, Hannah Pak and Katelyn Hutchison of Cienega, Hailey Tellez of Mountain View, Brianna Mendoza of Douglas and Rachelle Hartshorn of Sabino.
