Arizona’s Allonzo Trier has been cleared to play against Stanford tonight.
“We just received word that Allonzo Trier has been cleared for participation and will play in tonight’s game versus Stanford. We appreciate the NCAA granting this appeal and their understanding of this unique situation,” Arizona released just before 6 p.m.
Trier was suspended last week after the NCAA said it found a minute remnant of a banned PED from last season in his system. He missed Arizona’s last two games. He missed 19 games last season because of the PEDs.
Trier is averaging 19.6 points a game. Game time is 8 p.m.
