Championship action today in Tucson Summer Pro League

The Tucson Summer Pro League for Adults culminates today with championship action at The Gregory School.

Through yesterday’s games in the three-day tournament, Window Depot topped the standings with a 3-0 record followed by Ace Hardward at 2-1. Four teams are 1-2.

One more round of games are being played this morning (with 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. starts) before the fifth-place game (5 p.m.), third-place game (6 p.m.) and championship game (7 p.m.) are played tonight.

Lual Magot of Window Depot helped his team remain undefeated yesterday with 16 points in a 73-69 win over Casino del Sol Resort.

Magot, a 6-foot-5 small forward, is a former Cholla High School and Tohono O’Odham Community College standout. He is a junior now at NAIA school McPherson College in McPherson, Kan.
