Tucson High went 4-0 to capture the championship of the Prescott Lady Badgers Classic. Tucson beat Mohave 56-7 on Friday, Phoenix Country Day 61-21 Friday night, Kellis 52-18 Saturday afternoon and Apollo 60-55 Saturday night.
The Salpointe girls took third place with wins over Williams (53-19) and Cibola (53-29) on Friday, a 61-53 loss to Apollo in the semifinal round and a 68-23 win over Kellis Saturday night.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014 and he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017 and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years.
