Former Tucson High and Pima standout infielder Luis Samorano signed on to play for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

“We are very proud of Luis and his drive to further his education and his dreams to play baseball for UCCS,” his father Kelly Samorano said. “He is following the path made by our family Araceli Peralta (Pima, FIU) and Kristian Samorano (Pima, Benedictine Mesa). We are very blessed for their success!”
