Tucson will be represented by four units — two football teams and two cheer squads — at the American Youth Football Nationals at Kissimmee, Florida, starting today.
The teams are the Tucson Youth Football and Spirit Federation Cheer Elite, Cowboys Cheer, 10U Southwest Rams and 14U All-Stars.
The 14U All-Star Team, coached by former Pueblo High School and Arizona standout Clarence “Bam” McRae, begins action today at 2 p.m. (Tucson time) against Manatee of Sarasota County, Fla. Here is the bracket:

The 10U Southwest Rams start their tournament tomorrow at 10 a.m. against the CLCF Chiefs of Cranston, R.I. That game can be accessed via a live stream by clicking on this link. Again, a $24.99 daily fee is required or $149.99 for a whole week’s viewing. Here is the bracket:
The cheer competition for the Tanque Verde Cowboys and TYFSF Cheer Elite squads does not start until Saturday for the Cowboys cheerleaders. The Cheer Elite squad will compete starting next Sunday. We will have more information about these cheer squads, including their rosters, when that competition gets closer.
