Ironwood Ridge standout Celia Schrecker shot an 8-over-par 148 to win the Girls 15-18 Division of the Tucson City Junior Series No. 1 held at the El Rio Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday. Schrecker was three shots behind Rincon/UHS standout Lily Huether after the first round on Saturday but she recovered from an early double bogey on Sunday to finish the second round with a 1-over 71 to overtake Huether 148 to 152.

Canyon del Oro standout Beckett Carlson led the Boys 15-18 Division from beginning to end to outpace the field by 17 strokes. Carlson finished with a 4-over 144, including an even 70 on Sunday. Ironwood Ridge standout Jacob Medina took second.

Other division winners include Gertrude Munoz and Chase Pickering in the 13-14 Division, Olivia Franklin and Zachary Shaefer in the 11-12 Division, Samantha Hackwell and Finnegan Rustand in the 9-10 Division and Jaxxen Hardenbrook recorded a hole-in-one on his fourth hole on Sunday to help him take the 6-8 Division title.

The Tucson City Junior Series No. 2 is scheduled for Fred Enke from Feb. 6-7.
