Tucson High defender Savannah Gutierrez commits to Pima

Tucson High standout soccer player Savannah Gutierrez committed to play Pima. Gutierrez was on the Southern Arizona All-Freshman Team and she was an All-Southern Arizona selection last year.

The Badgers compete in the 6A Desert Southwest Region with the first match slated for Jan. 26 at Rincon/UHS. The Aztecs compete in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC).

“Me and Mom are super proud of you kid,” her father David Gutierrez posted. “Keep grinding! We can’t wait to see you on the pitch next season!”

Gutierrez also competes for the FC Tucson Youth Soccer organization.
