Sahuarita Standout Andres Gonzalez to Play Baseball for Sioux Falls

Sahuarita senior standout outfielder/pitcher Andres Gonzalez announced his commitment to play for the University of Sioux Falls. Gonzalez helped lead the Mustangs to a 5-1 record last spring before the season was cut short.

Located in South Dakota, the Cougars compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) as an NCAA Division II program. Nine players from Arizona play for the Cougars including former Sahuarita standout Zachary Shastay.

The Mustangs shifted to the 4A Conference this spring after taking second place in the 3A Conference in 2018 and 2019.
