Cholla WR/DB Moses Nelson commits to Hamline


Cholla High School receiver/defensive back Moses Nelson announced on Thursday his commitment to Hamline University, an NCAA Division III program at St. Paul, Minn.

“I chose Hamline University because the recruiter made me feel welcome and made me feel like that’s where I belong and the campus looked really nice,” Nelson mentioned. “From what I’ve heard the schooling is really good.”

Nelson plans to major in business.

Nelson’s varsity experience at Cholla only spanned 12 games largely because of COVID-19 limiting the Chargers to only one game last fall.

In his limited amount of opportunities, he had big plays in his career including a 45-yard interception return, 53-yard kickoff return and a 77-yard touchdown run.
