Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month: Salpointe’s Kylie Wild

Salpointe junior Kylie Wild won the Mt. Carmel XC Invitational event for seniors on Sept. 18 in San Diego with a time of 15:35.9 adding to her many accomplishments. She is the Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month for September.

Wild won the Division III state championship last year with a time of 18:37.3.

The Mt. Carmel Meet is a 2.7 mile course run in Balboa Park in San Diego and the AIA state meet is a 5K or roughly 3.1 miles.

During the track season in the spring, she won the state titles in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter races.
